I realized my last update had been in April 2009, so I figured it'd be a good idea to announce that I AM still alive. I've been working fulltime as of a good while ago, which has severely cut down on my free time. Don't worry, though—everything's going much more slowly than before, but I AM still working! The retranslations of The noose and 40 Days and 40 Nights of Rain are still my top two projects at the moment; if you check the project pages, you can actually see updated screenshots from the upcoming rereleases. I'm afraid I can't promise anything soon, but I wanted to reassure anyone who'd wondered that I'm still at it!

No actual release today, but just a quick update to say that yes, we're still alive, and still very much active. Reworking the older releases is taking much longer than expected, mainly because I discovered horrendous translation errors in several of them, so essentially, I've been retranslating them from scratch. But never fear; those will come in time, and new projects after.

Gasp! New layout! It probably won't look good on resolutions smaller than 800x600, but go ahead and try?

Ballad of an Evening Butterfly Version 1.5e has been released; it's been reworked using the PONScripter engine, as opposed to ONScripter. It's newer, shinier, and has a few translation and script fixes, so check it out! We have plans to rerelease several other older works in PONScripter as well, so keep an eye out for those.

Turning Gears: La Divina Commedia -Trial Version-, the trial of a fairly macabre game, is out.

April 22, 2008

December 14, 2007

Today we're proud to present a project that's been in the works for a long time: Ballad of an Evening Butterfly, a Deja Vu staff favorite.

Entomic Impurity: Chapter 0 + Preview version 1.1 has been released, including the Windows build, which is now available. If you've already downloaded the OSX release, please download this new one, as there have been significant changes.

September 8, 2007

Out today is Entomic Impurity: Chapter 0 + Preview, a rather creepy game. This is merely the prologue with a preview of later chapters; we'll be localizing future chapters as they are released.

Up for download is the demo of The Work of an Angel, a doujin fangame of Kanon by APPLEproject, the creators of Stay. The demo system is similar to the demo of Stay., in that you do not click through a scenario, but rather watch the game as it plays.

June 17, 2007

"Another Room" added to the extras section of the project page for The noose.

May 3, 2007

Today's release is the trial edition of Binary Pot, a commercial hentai game by August. The trial edition is worksafe (and free!). Enjoy the pretty girls!

April 9, 2007

Another release today... 40 Days and 40 Nights of Rain, a rather serious story. It's made by the creators of The noose, but it's worth noting that the games are nothing alike.

February 18, 2007

...and just a few days later, we release A Dream of Summer, our group's contribution to al|together 2006. A bittersweet high school romance, and an overall great read.

February 16, 2007

Today marks our first full release: The noose, a doujin game by ZigZag. The game is horror, so play it at night with the lights off for the full effect! As a warning, since this is a horror game, it might not be for the slightly squeamish. Nothing graphic, but there are some disturbing elements. Playtime is roughly one hour.

December 2, 2006

Our second update! Today we bring you another demo: Stay.~Fragments of memories~, APPLEproject's ONE ~Kagayaku Kisetsu e~ fangame. The full game is not free, so please support the circle by buying the full version!

November 5, 2006

Yes, the beginning of a brand new offshoot of Deja Vu! Here we focus on localizing doujin visual novels into English. Our first project is very short and very simple, but a release nonetheless: the demo of Touryou Made Mattenai, a HikaAki BL game released by TokyoRox. The demo, unlike the game itself, is worksafe. If you like this small demo, please look into purchasing the full game!
